Kristian Edwin Piper

Bridgewater – Kristian Edwin Piper, 49, of Bridgewater passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 after a sudden illness.

Kris was a long time resident of New Hampshire, growing up in Nashua and graduating from Nashua High School in 1982.

Kris graduated from Boston Architectural College and Wentworth Institute of Technology. He designed and built a home he loved in Bridgewater, NH and lived his life there welcoming friends with a door that was always open to all. He worked as an apprentice electrician around the lakes area for a number of years.

Kris enjoyed snowmobiling, NASCAR races, Bruins games, his cherished pets and visiting with many friends on Newfound Lake. Kris was always on the move, a constant bundle of energy that was most often spent helping someone else out with a small chore or a large project. Everywhere he went, Kris would run into someone he knew. He will be unbelievably missed by the immeasurable number of friends he had.

He was the beloved son of Dr. Jurgen F. Piper and Lilah C. Piper of Bridgewater, NH.

In addition to his parents, Kris will be missed by his Grandparents Jurgen G. and Dorothy Piper of Frederick, MD, his sister Ingrid Piper-Nelson and her husband Scott Nelson of St. Louis Park, MN, his brother Erick Piper, his wife Tracey and his much loved nephews Conner Piper and Cormac Piper of Lakeville, MN, extended family and friends.

Services: Calling hours will be held Saturday February 2, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Emmons Funeral Home 115 S. Main Street, Bristol, NH followed by a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, 170 Main St., Plymouth, N.H. Please join us after the memorial service for a reception at the Bridgewater Town Hall, 297 Mayhew Turnpike (Rte 3A).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the NH Humane Society or the Charity of your choice.
