Mildred June Six

Mildred June (McKenna) Six, 83, died peacefully at the Greenbrier Nursing Home in Nashua, NH on November 5, 2012. Mildred was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 1, 1929 to Joseph and Anna Mary McKenna.

She attended Catholic School in Lindenwold, NJ and married Reynold E. Six on February 17th, 1950. With the Military, they lived and traveled to various bases around the country, before settling in Nashua in 1967 when Reynold retired from the Air Force.

She worked as a seamstress in Clementon, NJ and for Penfield Sportswear in Nashua, NH. Mildred enjoyed gardening, crocheting and sewing. Some of her most cherished works were the Halloween costumes she designed and made for the grandchildren.

Mildred is survived by her 4 children: John, Bonnie, Reynold Jr. and Robert, 6 grandchildren: Stacey, Denice, John Jr., William, Brandi, and Reynold III and 5 great-grandchildren: Ryan, Casey, Colton, Jack and Liam and a brother, Edward McKenna of Chula Vista, CA.

Mildred was predeceased by her husband, Reynold, and her brothers, David, Charlie, Joseph and her sisters Helen, Elizabeth (Libby) and Catherine.

We want to thank everyone who has helped and visited Mildred over the last 3 years since her stroke. Your kindness and support was appreciated and will not be forgotten.

Services: On Friday November 23, 2012, there will be a gathering to celebrate her life from 2 :00 pm to 4 :00 pm at the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester. A memorial service will be held in the Cremation Society Chapel at 3:00 pm.
