Therese A. (Bernatchez) Dumais

Therese A. (Bernatchez) Dumais 81, of Montmagny, Quebec formerly of Nashua, NH died May 1, 2012 after a period of declining health.

Born in Montmagny on October 25, 1930. Daughter of the late Joseph and Eugenie (Bernier) Bernatchez.

A resident of Nashua for many years. She was the widow of Roger E. Dumais who died January 25, 1999.

Two brothers Lucien and Roland Bernatchez and a sister Madeleine Montminy predeceased her.

Members of her family include a son Donald O. Dumais who died on September 8, 2012. A daughter Annette Dubois and her husband Joel of Litchfield (5) sons Gerard and his wife Cathy of Hudson, Robert of Nashua, Paul and his wife Angela of Hudson, Denis and his wife Lucie of Hudson, Richard and his wife Kellie of Hudson. (8) Grandchildren, Donald, Jason, Shaun, Amymarie, Jessica, Nicole, Steven, and Megan. (6) great-grandchildren Dylan. Heather, Shayla, Logan, Madison, and Leah. Sisters Lucienne Gaudreau, Rita (Jean Yves) Labreques, Jeanne, Alice (Raynald) Labreques, and Yvonne all of Montmagny, Quebec, Sister Mariette Bernatchez (Sisters of Bon Pasteur) of Quebec City, (3) sisters-in-law Collette, Theresa of Canada and Jeannette Glines of Nashua, (1) brother-in-law Pascal Montminy of Beaumont, Quebec. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Services: A memorial Mass will be celebrated at Saint Louis de Gonzague Church on West Hollis Street in Nashua, NH on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 9:30 A.M.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may meet at the church.
