David J. Lavoie
David J. Lavoie, 44, of Nashua, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital.
David was born in Nashua on September 26, 1967, a son of Constance (Soucy-Lavoie) Acquino, of Merrimack, and the late Roger Lavoie. He was the husband of Carol (Kosik) Lavoie, of Nashua.
David was a lifelong Nashua resident. He had been employed by Redlon-Johnson. David was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed skiing, camping and spending time with his family at Newfound Lake. He was a devoted and loving husband and father. David was a communicant of the Parish of the Resurrection.
Besides his mother and his wife, David is survived by two daughters, Melissa Lavoie and Jessica Lavoie of Nashua; one son, Daniel Lavoie of Nashua; two brothers, Michael Lavoie and his wife, Tracy, and Gerald Lavoie and his wife, Cheryl, all of Nashua; an uncle, Clifford Soucy, of Nashua; also several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2012 from 4 to 8 PM in the ANCTIL-
ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 27, 2012 in Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad St., Nashua at 10:00 AM. Everyone is invited to meet at the Church. Burial will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Care c/o Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215.
