Dana P. Hirth
Dana P. Hirth, 25, of Nashua died unexpectedly on May 11, 2012, at his home.
He was born on November 14, 1986, a son Phillip Hirth of Nashua and Anita Schwed of Nashua. He was educated in Nashua.
Mr. Hirth was a member and has served with New Hampshire Army National Guard since 2004 and was a Specialist E-4. He was proud to serve a tour of duty in Afghanistan, with Charlie Company 3-172 Infantry Unit, Afghanistan, OEF-10 in Zormat, and in Paktia, Afghanistan, as a 240 Bravo Machine Gunner with the 3rd Platoon, Weapons Squad. He was currently active in the Army National Guard Reserves.
The center of his life was his family and he loved riding motorcycles, and playing the guitar. Recently, he had taking up snowboarding. In his younger years, he was a Cub Scout.
In addition to her parents he is survived by a daughter, Emma Hirth; his fiancé, Emily Boeing of Nashua and her son, Camden Boeing; a sister, Natasha B. Hirth of Nashua; a brother, Shane R. Hirth of Nashua; his nephew Jace Gagnon; his niece, Zoey Gagnon; his maternal grandmother, Molly Schwed; his paternal grandfather, Bernard P. Hirth, Sr; his former spouse and mother of his daughter, Koleen Fortin; and numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua on Wednesday from 5-8 PM. A Funeral Service in his honor will be held at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, at 10:00 AM.
