Erik Lawrence ‘Eddie Bones’ Brown
Erik Lawrence “Eddie Bones” Brown, 36 of Nashua, NH died Saturday February 4, 2012 at Southern NH Medical Center.
He was born May 11, 1975 in Boston, MA son of Helen (Fortier) Brown, of Nashua.
Erik had attended Emerson College for one year and graduated from Fitchburg State University with a Bachelor’s degree in history.
Prior to his disability, he worked with computer graphics at DMI Printing in Woburn, MA.
Erik truly enjoyed hip hop music and was a member of the band Skitzofreniks, in which he also produced music as well as producing music for other groups. He was also a DJ and loved Jordan Sneakers and was an avid collector of them. He was also an avid Boston Celtics fan, so much so that he was a “neurotic” Boston Celtics fan.
Erik was a counselor of others that had suffered spinal cord injuries. He had counseled numerous people everywhere he could, including his daughter’s Amherst St. Elementary School in Nashua as well as the Spaulding Rehabilitation Center in Boston, MA.
Erik was known as the neighborhood politician with his motto in life being “If you only get lemons, then make lemonade.”
Besides his mother, survivors include one daughter, Marley Brown and her mother Nicole Jenkins, both of Nashua; One brother, David Christie and his wife Melissa, of Cambridge, MA; One step-brother, Branden Brillon and his wife Amy, of Salem, MA; stepmother, Denise Coll and her husband Artie, of Raymond, NH; One uncle, Denis Fortier and his wife Karen, of Keene, NH; One aunt, Kathleen Rudavski and her husband Rabbi Benjamin, of Hingham, MA; as well as several cousins and friends.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held Saturday from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home, One Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM in the chapel of the Davis Funeral Home, immediately following visiting hours. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
