Claire A. Maynard

Pembroke – Claire A. Maynard, 73, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester.

Born in Manchester on November 29, 1938, Claire was the daughter of David and Marie (Cote) Daigneault.

In 1957 Claire married Albert Larochelle and together they had 4 children.

After his death in 1966, she married Roger Maynard and together they had 3 children. Mrs. Maynard loved being a homemaker, caring for her seven children, and keeping a meticulous home.

Claire is survived by her husband, Roger Maynard, of Pembroke; 3 daughters and their families, Phyllis Larochelle and her friend Norman Ducharme of Allenstown, their son Shawn Buxton, his wife Heidi, and their children, Brandyn and Carter; Susan Sanderson of Pembroke, Susan’s daughter Stephanie and her husband Mario Alves of Burke, VA, and Susan’s son, Matthew Sanderson, his wife Cristen, and their daughter Adelyn of Gainesville, VA; and Janet Thibodeau and her husband James of Pembroke; her 4 sons and families, Albert Larochelle, his wife Donna, and their children Christopher and Julie of Manchester; Russell Maynard, his wife Laurie, and their son Marcus of Concord; Eric Maynard and his wife Donna of New Ipswich; and Chad Maynard, his wife Kara, and their children, Lea and Ethan of Manchester. In addition Mrs. Maynard leaves a sister, Theresa Grady and her husband John of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Joseph Cathedral in Manchester by Rev. Msgr. Anthony Frontiero.
