Edith T. Tramm
Edith T. Tramm, 74, of Nashua, formerly of Emerson, NJ, died at Elliot Hospital in Manchester on Saturday, December 10, 2011.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 13, 1937, a daughter of the late Albert and Mildred (Milhagen) Timmermann. She was the wife of Robert D. Tramm, whom she married on September 11, 1960. She has resided in Nashua since August of 2011, formerly having resided in Emerson, New Jersey.
She was educated in Brooklyn, NY and was a graduate of Franklin K. Lane High School.
Mrs. Tramm was a homemaker. At one time she had been employed as a clerk/secretary for J. P. Morgan in New York City. As well she had worked for the Community Life, a weekly newspaper in New Jersey.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Nashua. In New Jersey, she was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Westwood, NJ, where she served the church in many ways and through many activities. She was a past president of Emerson High School Music sponsors.
She enjoyed reading, traveling and keeping up with her family and their activities.
She was pre-deceased by a sister Ruth Brunhuber.
In addition to her husband of 51 years, survivors include her four children, Karen Hyde and her husband Rick of Lakewood, CO, Robert Tramm and his wife Ruth of West Warwick, RI, Linda Lantagne and her husband William of Litchfield, NH and Susan Petriano and her husband John of Long Valley, NJ; five grandchildren, Matthew and Lauren Lantagne of Litchfield, NH, Carly and Hannah Hyde of Lakewood, CO, and Christopher Petriano of Long Valley, NJ, a nephew and two nieces.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held at Davis Funeral Home, One Lock Street, Nashua on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 12-3 PM. A Funeral service in her honor will be held during the visitation at one o’clock. Reverend Michael Meyer, Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church will officiate. Friends are invited to attend.
