Robert “Bob” R. McRoberts

Robert “Bob” R. McRoberts, 83, died on Nov. 17, 2011 at Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua, NH after a long illness.

Mr. McRoberts was born on November 13, 1928 in Sharon, PA, the son of the late Howard W. and Janet (Christison) McRoberts.

Mr. McRoberts served in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman during WWII.

Before retirement, he was the Sales Director for Carus Chemical in LaSalle, IL.

Mr. McRoberts was the widower of Nancy McRoberts who died in 2002, and was predeceased by an infant daughter Bonnie McRoberts and a brother Howard McRoberts who died in 2006.

Mr. McRoberts is survived by his wife of 7 years, Elizabeth “Bette” J. (Tennant) of Merrimack; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Peter and his wife Lori McRoberts, Philip and his wife Michelle McRoberts, Duane McRoberts all of Merrimack; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan and her husband Jim Flaherty of Hollis, Vicki and her husband Roy Hilfiker of Nashua; 2 stepsons Steven Christiansen of MA, Jeffrey and his wife Jo Christiansen of NY; a stepdaughter Diane and her husband Stephen Foley of MA; 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Monday Nov. 21, 2011 from 4-7 PM at the Rivet Funeral Home & Crematorium, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM in the First Congregational Church, 7 Baboosic Lake Rd., Merrimack, NH. Rev. Allen Tomlinson will officiate. Burial will follow in the family lot at Last Rest Cemetery.
