Terry Calvin Hollick
On the morning of August 27, 2011 Terry Calvin Hollick of Hollis, NH (formerly of Columbia & Manchester, CT and Jersey Shore, PA) passed away with his family at his side. A sudden brain aneurism took him much too soon from this world, he was 66 years old.
Terry was born in 1945 in Jersey Shore PA. Following high school, he spent 6 years in the Navy. He then resided in Manchester & Columbia CT with his wife and stepchildren until 1986, when they moved to Hollis NH, where he lived until his death.
Terry is survived by his wife Michele Bailey-McCarthy Hollick, his step son Thomas McCarthy, and his step daughter and her husband Christine McCarthy Geddes and Dan Geddes, as well as their children Timothy Calvin Geddes and Sydney Ann Geddes.
He is also survived by his sister Pamela Roller, his sister-in-law Nancy Hollick, and in-laws Gene & Lucille Bailey, David & Karen Bailey, and Daniel & Eileen Bailey, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Terry was a wonderful husband and best friend to his wife Michele for 34 years. Perhaps most recently Terry’s greatest joy was his grandchildren, Timothy Calvin “TC” and Sydney. Terry spent countless hours playing with them – swimming in the pool, pulling them with the lawn tractor in the trailer, and just laughing with them. He was an amazing Pappy, and they will miss him terribly.
Terry will also be dearly missed by his best friend Herney Londono of Nashua NH.
Terry is predeceased by his parents, William Calvin Hollick and Jane Hollick, both of Jersey Shore, PA, as well as his brother Timothy Hollick of Trout Run, PA, and his brother-in-law Robert Roller of Antes Forte, PA.
He is also predeceased by his sisters-in-law Patricia Bailey Atmore and Barbara “BJ” Bailey, and his brother-in-law Mark Bailey.
There will be a Wake of Remembrance at the Michaud Funeral home on Maple Street in Wilton NH from 4-8 on Tuesday August 30, 2011. Burial will be at St. James Cemetery in Manchester CT on Saturday September 3, 2011 at noon. Both are open to the public.
