Florence M. (Dawson) Pepin

Florence M. (Dawson) Pepin, 90, of Litchfield, NH died Sunday February 13, 2011 at the Fairview Nursing Facility in Hudson.

Mrs. Pepin was born January 28, 1921 in Gorham, NH, daughter of the late Graham and Gladys (Curtis) Dawson. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Herve Pepin Jr. who died June of 2005, two sons, Ronald Pepin who died May 2006 and Robert Pepin, who died July 2007.

Florence was artistic and enjoyed working in oils and watercolors. Other interests included ceramics and gardening. She was an avid cook and baker who always enjoyed feeding her company. Florence was devoted to her family and was known as a very loving and gracious lady.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jack Pepin and his wife Laura, of Litchfield, with whom Florence resided. Also three sisters and one brother-in-law, Olive Smith, of Virginia, Betty Jubinville, of Ludlow, MA and Virginia Waite and her husband Leonard, of Belchertown, MA, as well as nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

SERVICES: There will be no visiting hours.

A private burial will be at the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH with a graveside service to be held in the spring.
