Doris M. (Montana) Polley
Doris M. (Montana) Polley, 94, of Nashua, died peacefully at her home on September 29, 2010 surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Polley was born on May 18, 1916 in Saxonville, Mass., a daughter of the late Charles and Maria (Garfield) Montana. She was a graduate of Framingham High School, class of 1933. Prior to her marriage to Robert W. Polley on Aug. 10, 1940, she had worked for the former New England Telephone Company in Framingham. Subsequent to their marriage, she and Robert settled in Nashua and shared 55 years of marriage prior to his death on Nov. 17, 1995.
Mrs. Polley was a longtime active member of The First Church U.C.C. (Congregational) in Nashua. She is remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband and her grandson, Craig Hutchinson, and by two brothers, Kenneth and Chester Montana.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Judith and Eugene Kusekoski of Nashua and Carol Hutchinson of Nashua; her granddaughters, Amanda Hutchinson and her partner Jeremy Stashluk both of Bedford, NH, and Sara Hutchinson and her fiancé George Boulé both of Brooklyn, NY; her brother Robert Montana of Dallas, TX and her sister, Hazel Enright of Calabash, NC; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua on Sunday from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Service in her honor will be held at The First Church U.C.C. (Congregational), One Concord St., Nashua, on Monday morning at Eleven o’clock. The Rev. James S. Chaloner and Rev. Karen Gutowski will officiate. Friends are invited to attend. Interment prayers and burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
