Elizabeth M. ‘Betty’ Lambert

Elizabeth M. “Betty” Lambert, 53, of Merrimack died Thursday March 25, 2010 at the Community Hospice House of Merrimack, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born November 24, 1956, in Nashua, and was the daughter of Anthony J. and Charlotte M. (Haight) Silva, she was raised and educated in Merrimack, was a graduate of Merrimack High School and was a lifelong resident of the area.

Betty was employed for many years as a Quality Control Technician at Presstek Inc. of Hudson. She enjoyed boating and fishing, loved the beach, and cherished her time spent with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert M. Higgins, Jr.

In addition to her parents of Merrimack, members of the family include her husband of 6 years, Edward A. Lambert of Merrimack, a daughter and her husband, Melissa and Jonathan Dalton of Merrimack, four grandchildren, Nicholas, Joshua, Boston and Jacoby Dalton, of Merrimack, two step-sons, Trevor and Tyler Lambert, both of Nashua, three sisters, Virginia Miner wife of the late Ronald Miner, Sr., and Carol Markarian & her husband Mark, and Pamela Silva and her companion Mark Maloney, three brothers, Richard Silva, Robert Silva & his wife Denise, and Ronald Silva & his wife Kathy, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 8pm at the George R. Rivet Funeral Home 425 Daniel Webster Merrimack, NH. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 12:30 pm in the funeral home, and burial will conclude at Last Rest Cemetery of Merrimack.
