Lorraine D. (Cote) Blanchard

Lorraine D. (Cote) Blanchard, 85, of Nashua, passed away on Thursday March 18, 2010 at Southern NH Medical Center.

Lorraine was born in Derry, NH on June 15, 1924 a daughter of the late Prudent and Auriele (Levesque) Cote. She was the widow of Robert F. Blanchard who died August 3, 1971.

Lorraine was a longtime Nashua resident. She had attended schools in Derry. Prior to her retirement, Lorraine had been employed by Nashua Corporation. She was a communicant of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Lorraine was predeceased by a son, Michael Robert Blanchard.

Lorraine is survived by two daughters, Sharon Eriksen and her husband Eric of Nashua and Claire Babineau of Laconia; two grandchildren, Christopher McMullen and his wife Luciann and Jennah Babineau; two great-grandchildren, Lucy Elizabeth McMullen and Julia Elena McMullen; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Sunday March 21, 2010 from 4 to 6 PM in the ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday March 22, 2010 in St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 West Hollis St., Nashua at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
