Vermont State Parks holds fall foliage photo contest
MONTPELIER, Vt, (AP) — Vermont is holding a photo contest for the best shots of fall foliage in the state parks or state forests this year.
The photos may include people enjoying the parks, scenic views, historic structures, and more, organizers said.
First prize is a $100 Vermont State Park gift card, the second place winner gets a 2022 season family vehicle pass to the start parks, and third prize is a 10-punch state parks pass.
The contest is open to the public and contestants may submit up to three photos, all of which must have been taken within a Vermont State Park or State Forest. Photos must be original and created solely by the person who submits them. Photographers under the age of 18 must obtain a permission form from a parent or legal guardian to enter.
The deadline to submit entries is by 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 10. Photos will be judged between Oct. 14 and Oct. 18.
