CONCORD – The New Hampshire lottery is projecting Saturday night’s (9/16) Powerball jackpot will jump to $596 million with an anticipated one-time cash payout of $288.2 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld.) Since the last jackpot winner this past July, there have now been 24 consecutive Powerball drawings without a jackpot winner.

“Another day, another amazing Powerball jackpot up for grabs,” said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director, New Hampshire Lottery. “With nearly $600 million on the line, excitement levels are rising among players as everyone wants to be New Hampshire’s next multi-millionaire! Our retailers are already reporting great sales ahead of the drawing this weekend. We wish the best of luck to all of our players and are hoping for a Granite State winner come Saturday night!”

The Powerball drawing results from Wednesday September 13, were: 22-30-37-44-45 PB-18 with a Power Play of 3.

The $596 million Powerball jackpot has been growing since July 19, when a lucky California player purchased a $1 billion jackpot winning ticket.

Powerball drawings are held Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 PM.

Tickets are on sale at more than 1,400 retailers statewide and online at NH iLottery. For more information and to play, visit www.nhlottery.com.
