Mega Millions jackpot approaches half-a-billion

CONCORD – Without a winner in Tuesday night’s (4/11) drawing, the New Hampshire Lottery is expecting Friday night’s (4/14) Mega Millions jackpot to reach $476 million. The New Hampshire Lottery estimates the one-time cash payout will increase to $256 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are determined before taxes are withheld.)
“We are thrilled for our New Hampshire players as the Mega Millions jackpot is quickly approaching the half-a-billion-dollar mark,” said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director, New Hampshire Lottery. “We are expecting a steady increase in sales as this jackpot continues to rise, and we encourage players to get their tickets now for a chance to win this life-changing prize!”
Mega Million drawing results from Tuesday, April 11, were: 31-35-53-54-55 MB-24 with a Megaplier of 3.
The $476 million Mega Millions jackpot has been growing since January 13, when a lucky Maine player purchased a $1.35 billion jackpot winning ticket.
The Mega Millions jackpot reached $1.537 billion in October 2018, marking the largest Mega Millions jackpot and the third-largest lottery jackpot in history. The jackpot was won by one lucky South Carolina player.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:59 PM.
