Pembroke fire officer dies after returning home from house fire
PEMBROKE – Calling hours are scheduled for Friday afternoon for Lt. Terrence Judge, a veteran member of the Pembroke Fire Department who was stricken after returning home from helping battle a house fire last Wednesday.
“It is with profound sadness that Chief Paul Gagnon announces the untimely death of Lt. Terrence Judge …,” the department said in a statement.
“Lt. Judge succumbed to a severe medical illness, which occurred at his home after he returned from a fire incident … .”
Lt. Judge, 64, was a 33-year veteran of the Pembroke Fire
Department. He was currently serving as the officer on Tower 1. Calling hours are from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Roan Funeral Home on Main Street in Pembroke.
