NASHUA — An incident this morning at a work site on Prescott Street that police believe was an accident has claimed the life of an unidentified man.

Police, firefighters and ambulance personnel were called to 12 Prescott St. shortly before 9 a.m. for a report of a man who had sustained significant injuries and was unconscious.

Police didn’t describe the nature of the work the man was doing, but indications are it involved tree work.

While police did say that the victim’s family members have been notified, they didn’t provide his name.

AMR rushed the man to a local hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries, police said.
