Year-long investigation culminates in Pelham man’s arrest on multiple child pornography charges

Bretton Crawford, 30, last known address, 3 Timber Lane, Pelham
PELHAM — Police said detectives closed out an “extensive, year-long child pornography investigation” Wednesday with the arrest of 30-year-old Bretton Crawford, a Pelham resident whose last known address is 3 Timber Lane.
The arrest took place in the Carroll County town of Madison, where police in that town located Crawford and arrested him on the warrant Pelham police had issued for his arrest.
Crawford was subsequently transferred to the custody of Pelham police, who charged him with 13 felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse images.
Roughly two months ago, Pelham police, along with members of the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force, executed a search warrant at the suspect residence in Pelham. They didn’t specify if the location was the Timber Lane residence.
The search turned up further evidence that police gathered, which prompted detectives to draw up the warrant for Crawford’s arrest.
Crawford was booked on the charges then transported to Valley Street jail in Manchester, where he was ordered held on bail pending arraignment, a date for which wasn’t immediately known.
