NASHUA — Police say a previous conviction on a stalking-related charge has upped a Nashua woman’s new stalking charge to a Class B felony.

Tonya A. Ano, 40, allegedly entered a residence of a man she knows while a protective order prohibiting her from doing so was in effect, police said.

Officers who responded to the undisclosed address located Ano and arrested her without incident.

Special Investigations Division detectives discovered Ano’s previous conviction, which stems from one of several court cases, all out of Merrimack County cities and towns.

Ano was held pending arraignment, which was scheduled to take place this week.
