Hudson firefighters, community at large mourn loss of veteran fire officer/paramedic in motorcycle crash

HUDSON — A statement issued this morning from the office of Fire Chief Scott Tice said the department is announcing “with profound sadness and grief” the death Monday evening of Lt. Todd Berube, a 20-year veteran of the department who also served as a paramedic.
Berube was pronounced deceased at the scene of a crash that involved the Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle he was operating and a Mazda sedan.
The crash occurred about 6 p.m. Monday on Derry Road near the intersection of Robinson Road. The Mazda was driven by a woman whose name hasn’t yet been released.
