By Staff | Dec 23, 2022

MANCHESTER – The 11th annual Tower of Toys initiative collected approximately 1,000 unwrapped children’s toys and raised more than $20,000 to benefit children and families served by local nonprofit organizations. Donations were formed into a toy-filled tower at the Atrium of the Beacon Building at 814 Elm Street, Manchester for a community open house and then distributed to: Dover Children’s Home, Friends of Aine, Friends of Forgotten Children, My Turn, Nashua Children’s Home, New Generation, Roca Kidz Club, Spaulding Academy & Family Services, Walk with a Child, and Webster House.

The monetary donations were also split evenly and given to these organizations.

“Our mission is to make the work of nonprofit organizations and families easier during the Christmas season, and most importantly, to make the season truly magical for New Hampshire’s children,” said Larry Thibodeau, senior partner, Flexecution, Inc., and Tower of Toys founder and sponsor. “We are overwhelmed by the generosity of the members of the Greater Manchester community who made the 11th annual Tower of Toys successful.”

Ignite Bar & Grille and Hooked Seafood Restaurant, Industry East, and Shopper’s Pub + Eatery donated a portion of their sales on December 10 to Tower of Toys.

Tower of Toys was sponsored by the Red Arrow Diner, Angels Sewing and Quilting, the Beacon Building, Colliers, Cross Insurance, Dick Pratte Cabinetry, Downdog Flow Yoga & Pilates, Flexecution, Inc., Industry East, JDS Flooring, Just Flow Events & Marketing, Melanson, and Shopper’s Pub + Eatery.
