Local woman accused of pulling gun on a hotel guest
Michelle M. Lagasse, age 53, of 92 1/2 Tolles Street, Nashua
NASHUA — Police early Monday morning took into custody 53-year-old Michelle M. Lagasse, who is accused of threatening another woman with a firearm when their verbal argument allegedly escalated.
Lagasse, of 92 1/2 Tolles St., faces one count of criminal threatening, a Class B felony on which she was booked and later released on $250 cash bail pending arraignment, which is scheduled for Dec. 29 in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.
Police said officers were called to the Motel 6 at 77 Spit Brook Road shortly before midnight in response to a report that an incident of criminal threatening had occurred.
The alleged victim, an unidentified woman, told officers that a woman, who was also a guest of the motel, had allegedly threatened her with a firearm following a verbal dispute, police said.
Officers identified Lagasse as the suspect in the incident, and subsequently took her into custody.
Detectives later recovered the firearm alleged to have been used during the incident, police said, adding that no shots were fired and nobody was injured.
The two women “were unknown to each other,” police said. They didn’t say what triggered the argument that led to the alleged gun threats.
As part of Lagasse’s bail conditions, she is prohibited from possessing any deadly weapons, and is ordered to stay away from Motel 6.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact the police department’s Crime Line at 589-1665.
