Triangle Credit Union closing its Temple Street branch
NASHUA — Triangle Credit Union officials announced last week that they have decided to close its branch at 30 Temple St. “after much review and consideration.”
The final day of business is Friday, Dec. 30, according to the statement, issued by the Triangle Credit Union management team.
They said they came to the “difficult decision” to close the branch, which has occupied a portion of the first floor of the 6-story building since it moved there from 110 Main St. several years ago.
They cited “low member traffic, the proximity of other locations, and the greater need for staffing elsewhere” for the decision.
Current staff at the branch will be reallocated to other locations, according to the statement.
It will be business as usual at Triangle’s other two Nashua locations, its flagship branch at 33 Franklin St. and its south Nashua branch at 166 Daniel Webster Highway.
