Nashua firm MarketReach is drop-off center for Toys for Tots holiday toy drive
NASHUA — The offices of MarketReach Inc., a Nashua-based firm that specializes in creating marketing materials and technological solutions for customers worldwide, are again serving as a local drop-off point for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots 2022 holiday campaign.
The offices, at 410 Amherst St., Suite 110, are in the Birch Pond Office Park next to Bertucci’s restaurant.
Anyone wishing to participate can drop off a new, unwrapped toy at that address from now through Tuesday, Dec. 13.
Toys can also be shipped to the MarketReach offices through Dec. 13.
Eryn Mahoney, a longtime organizer of Toys for Tots drives, said distributing toys to children is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg.
“Personally, I find this program brings joy to both parents and children,” Mahoney said.
“It’s really not about the toys at the end of the day, but the reaction and emotional connection the toys bring and the memories they help create.”
This year’s drive marks a milestone in the Toys for Tots campaign in the form of its 75th anniversary.
Founded in Los Angeles in 1947 by Marine Corps Major Bill Hendricks, Toys for Tots has distributed an estimated 627 million boys to 281 million children nationwide.
