Locals participate in annual Scouting for Food initiative
Saturday, Scouting groups in New Hampshire and the entire nation collected food donations in their neighborhoods to fill pantries, closets and food banks in their communities.
Scouting for Food is an annual program of the Boy Scouts of America. The effort began in 1985 by the Greater Saint Louis Area Council. The program involves collecting food donations for local food banks, closets and pantries.
Scouting for Food is a project rooted in the very foundation of the Scouting movement and its dedication to implement the Scout Slogan: “Do a good turn daily.”
