Tickets still available for annual June Caron Senior Outing
NASHUA — Ticket requests have been brisk of late for the 52nd annual June Caron Senior Outing, but a fair number of them are still available for Nashua residents age 60 and up who would like to take part.
Besides the food, the best thing about the outing is that it’s free. Tickets are necessary in order to keep count of the number of participants, which is limited to 300 people.
Tickets are available for pickup at the Nashua Parks & Recreation office, which is on the east side of Greeley Park, 100 Concord St. The office is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Proof of age and residency are required.
Tickets will be available through the first week of November.
The luncheon, which in addition to the meal will include light entertainment and a raffle with great prizes, will take place at Courtyard by Marriott, 2200 Southwood Drive, on Sunday, Nov. 13, beginning at noon. Doors open at 11:40 — 11:20 for residents needing assistance.
