By Dean Shalhoup - Senior Staff Writer | Oct 18, 2022

Christopher Diamond, 39, of 42 Mooseport Road, Dunbarton

NASHUA — A former local man now living in Dunbarton was taken into custody over the weekend on charges accusing him of distributing heroin/fentanyl and methamphetamine within Nashua, according to police.

Christopher Diamond, who turned 40 on Monday, was subsequently booked on the charges, all of which are classified as special felonies, and later released on $500 bail pending arraignment, which is scheduled for Nov. 17 in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.

Diamond, who lives at 42 Mooseport Road in Dunbarton, is charged with one count each of sale of heroin/fentanyl; possession of heroin/fentanyl with intent to distribute; and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

The arrest isn’t Diamond’s first in the Nashua area. He was charged in August with possession of a controlled drug; his next hearing in that case is scheduled for Nov. 2.

He was arrested again in September on a possession of controlled drug charge, and is scheduled for arraignment Oct. 27.

Back in February of this year, Diamond pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled drug, and was sentenced to 12 months in jail, all deferred.

And in March, two counts of possession of a controlled drug and one count of driving after revocation or suspension were dropped by prosecutors.

Police said that anyone who may have any additional information regarding Diamond’s case is asked to call the department’s Crime Line at 589-1665.

And anyone with knowledge of illegal drug activity is urged to call the department’s Narcotics Hotline, 594-3597, or log onto its website at www.nashuapd.com.

Any questions can be directed to Narcotics Intelligence Division Det. Lt. Matthew McConnell at 594-3591, or Det. Sgt. Andrew Roy at 589-6315.
