HOLLIS — An as yet unidentified driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Silver Lake Road shortly before 9:30 Tuesday morning.

Police Capt. Brendan LaFlamme said police, firefighters and medical personnel were called to the area of Truell Road, which runs off Silver Lake Road (Route 122) just south of the intersection of Silver Lake and Hayden roads.

The driver, whose identity LaFlamme said is being withheld pending the notification of family members, was found deceased by first responders.

The car, which had no other occupants, was headed north on Silver Lake Road when it left the roadway and struck a tree, LaFlamme said.

All circumstances of the crash remain under investigation, including the cause.
