Suspect in mall robbery accused of pulling gun on store clerk, fleeing with merchandise

NASHUA — Firearm and drug possession charges have been filed against a Nashua man in connection with a Saturday evening robbery that took place at an unnamed store in the Pheasant Lane Mall.

Police said Reinaldo Ramos Jr., 32, of 83 Tenby Drive, was taken into custody around 10 p.m., about an hour and a half after officers were called to the store for reports of a theft, during which the suspect allegedly brandished a firearm before taking off on foot with some merchandise.

Police didn’t say where Ramos was arrested, but said he was located by responding officers and taken into custody.

He is charged with one count of armed robbery, a Class A felony; one count of felonious use of firearms, a Class B felony; and two counts of possession of a controlled drug, also Class B felonies.

Ramos was transported to police headquarters for booking, then ordered held on $1,000 cash bail pending arraignment.
