Despite heat, annual Rotary Swim Meet draws huge crowd
MILFORD – The 57th Milford Rotary Swim Meet kicked off Saturday in 90-plus degree heat, but that didn’t deter more than 1,500 swimmers and spectators from relaxing poolside.
The event, at Keyes Pool in Milford, attracts more than 500 swimmers from New Hampshire and Massachusetts for the two-day event. Swimmers from 5 years old to 19 compete in 84 events over the two-day competition.
Actions resumes at 9 a.m. today.
