Amherst man arrested for allegedly discharging firearm
Alejandro De La Torre Cabral, 22, of Amherst, was arrested Sunday by members from the Nashua Police Department’s Uniform Field Operations Bureau arrested. He was charged with four counts of reckless conduct – deadly weapon, all Class B felonies.
According to reports, at approximately 9:41 p.m., officials responded to a residence in Nashua for the report of shots fired. Upon arriving, officers located evidence related to the discharging of a firearm. The Nashua Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division furthered the investigation and identified Alejandro De La Torre Cabral as being the suspect that discharged a firearm several times into the ground. He was subsequently arrested for his alleged involvement in the incident.
A Class B Felony is punishable by up to seven years in the State Prison, exclusive of fines. De La Torre Cabral was released on $200 cash bail and will be arraigned in the Hillsborough County Superior Court-South on Aug. 4.
