School breakfast and lunch distribution volunteers needed this month
NASHUA – United Way of Greater Nashua is working with the Nashua School District to help distribute free school breakfasts and lunches outside five Nashua elementary schools between July 5 and Aug. 5.
More than 100 volunteers are needed to help distribute these free meals on one or more weekday per week from July 5 to Aug. 5. Two shifts are available each day between Monday and Friday. Volunteers are needed for shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. or from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Two volunteers are needed per shift. Families are welcome to volunteer together. Volunteers under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The meals, which will be provided by the school cafeterias, will be distributed from outside the following Nashua elementary schools: Amherst Street, Dr. Crisp, Fairgrounds, Ledge Street and Mount Pleasant.
