Motorcycle crash claims life of 42-year-old driver

MANCHESTER — A local man was fatally injured Sunday evening when the motorcycle he was operating crashed into a guard rail on I-293 then came to rest in the breakdown lane.
State police said Adam Young, a Manchester resident, was thrown from the motorcycle upon impact. Medical personnel administered treatment at the scene then transported Young to Catholic Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
The crash occurred in the so-called “S curves” in the northbound lanes of I-293 near mile marker 7, which is just south of Exit 6.
Police said that all aspects of the crash remain under investigation. They ask that anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has additional information contact Trooper Doug Bailey at douglas.p.bailey@dos.nh.gov or 223-8492.
