NASHUA — A Massachusetts woman accused by police of taking part in a theft ring that targeted a store in the Pheasant Lane Mall has been arrested on two Class A felony charges, police said.

Kenya Ferrell, 29, of 1822 Crane Brook Way, Peabody, is among “multiple individuals” who allegedly “worked together to commit multiple thefts” at Victoria’s Secret over a period of several months, according to police.

Ferrell was initially charged with one count of theft by unauthorized taking — acting in concert, for which police had issued a warrant for her arrest.

A second count of the charge was subsequently added, police said.

Ferrell was booked on the charges at police headquarters then released on bail pending arraignment, which is currently scheduled for May 26 in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.

Police said officers were called to Victoria’s Secret on two occasions last fall to take reports of multiple thefts.

Detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigation Division identified Ferrell as one of the “multiple individuals” allegedly involved in the thefts, which involved items totaling in excess of $1,500 in value.

Police didn’t say whether there have been other arrests in connection with the string of thefts, or if they have identified any other suspects at this time.

They are asking anyone who may have any additional information on the alleged theft ring, or any suspects who may be involved, to call the department’s Crime Line at 589-1665.
