NASHUA – The Souhegan Valley Rotary Club in Nashua is hosting it’s 10th annual Kentucky Derby Party from 3:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday at Boston Billiard Club and Casino in Nashua. Proceeds from the event will benefit nonprofit organizations throughout Greater Nashua as well as a scholarship fund for local students. Tickets still are available for just $20, and can be purchased online at www.kentuckyderbynh.com.

“This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and unfortunately, we’ve had to put it on hold during the pandemic,” said Shaun Nelson, president of the Rotary Club. “Its always been a great event, and this year we think it will be the best one yet.”

This year, attendees will have the opportunity to have professional photos taken on the red carpet and place bets on the horses racing in the Kentucky Derby for a chance to win Red Sox tickets, Patriots tickets and Wicked tickets. Additionally, there will be 12 high-value raffle baskets, a 50-50 contest and $100 gift cards that are being given away as part of a “Best Dressed” contest. Of course, attendees also may take part in the live casino gaming at Boston Billiard Club.
