Downtown Manchester was flooded with enthusiastic runners, and walkers participating Saturday in the Shamrock Shuffle who ran or walked a half-marathon which is part of the weekend celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day.

About 2,000 participants started the race near Veterans Park on Elm Street and returned to the same location for the finish line.

Millennium Running organized the run which was staffed by volunteers, employees, as well as Manchester Police and AMR.
