HUDSON — Police on Tuesday took into custody 47-year-old Melissa Daigle on charges ranging from identity fraud to witness tampering in connection with an investigation police said is ongoing.

Daigle, whose last known address is 7 Charity Court in Hudson, faces seven felony and two misdemeanor charges. She was booked after her arrest and later released on $200 cash bail pending arraignment at Hillsborough County Superior Court South in Nashua.

The charges include two counts each of identity fraud, misuse of a computer, and falsifying physical evidence, and one count of witness tampering, all Class B felonies; and one count each of theft and false report to law enforcement, Class A misdemeanors, police said.

Police didn’t provide any information on the circumstances that led to Daigle’s arrest, or if their investigation is expected to yield additional charges or charges being filed against other people.

According to an archived story, Daigle was indicted in September 2021 on a charge of falsifying physical evidence in connection with a May incident in Hudson.

The status of that case wasn’t immediately available, and it’s not known if it is connected with Tuesday’s arrest.
