By Staff | Feb 5, 2022

MANCHESTER – Girls Inc. of New Hampshire has announced a new collaboration with Harvard Pilgrim Health Care in support of healthy living and access to sports for New Hampshire girls. Girls Inc. of New Hampshire’s Sporting Chance Program enables young girls to participate in physical activities and explore healthy decision-making. Both the Nashua and Manchester Girls Inc. centers offer Sporting Chance programming with activities ranging from basketball and volleyball to yoga, soccer and racquet sports.

“We are proud to support Girls Inc. in helping girls grow their fitness abilities and self-confidence while improving their overall health and well-being,” said Kate Skouteris, NH Market Lead for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care.

Girls Inc. strives to make athletics and new sports activities an accessible and fundamental part of girls’ lives.

“We are so grateful to Harvard Pilgrim for this support to help our girls develop critical skills and form good habits that will keep them healthy and focused on the positive in their lives,” said Sharron McCarthy, CEO of Girls Inc. New Hampshire. “Sporting Chance provides girls a safe and supportive environment to participate in competitive and recreational activities and sporting events and empowers girls to succeed.”
