MLK dinner in Manchester rescheduled

In consideration of the surge in COVID-19 cases and public safety, the National Cultural Diversity Awareness Council and its board of governors made the decision to move the date of the 19th annual “Keeping the Dream Alive®” Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dinner Celebration from Monday Jan. 17 to Monday June 6. The dinner will be at 6:00 PM on Monday June 6, 2022, at the Double Tree Hotel found at 700 Elm St. in Manchester.

The “Keeping the Dream Alive®” Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dinner Celebration is organized and hosted by the National Cultural Diversity Awareness Council. This year’s dinner will commemorate and coincide with the 23rd anniversary of the signing of the bill creating the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr holiday in New Hampshire. Speaking invitations will be extended to key public officials, and prominent leaders from business and government institutions. The proceeds from the dinner will go toward funding the NCDAC’s “Keeping the Dream Alive®” youth diversity workshops and other diversity programs. NCDAC’s mission is to increase awareness of the need for communication, understanding, and respect among people of diverse backgrounds. Through community events, educational programs and alliances with corporations, educational institutions, government agencies and non-profit organizations, NCDAC addresses the critical issues of multiculturalism facing our nation.
