Nashua woman charged with sexual assault, falsifying evidence following late December arrest
Jennifer Leblanc, 48, of 123 West Pearl St., Nashua
NASHUA — Special Investigations Division detectives have charged a 48-year-old Nashua woman with one count each of aggravated felonious sexual assault, falsifying physical evidence, and attempted falsifying physical evidence, following an investigation that stemmed from reports that patrol officers had taken earlier in the day.
Jennifer Leblanc, of 123 West Pearl St., was initially held on preventive detention following her Dec. 30 arrest. She had been scheduled for arraignment on Jan. 3, but it’s not known if her bail status was modified or amended at that time.
Police said officers took Leblanc into custody around 7 p.m., Dec. 30. The alleged victim told police he or she had been sexually assaulted the previous evening, allegedly by Leblanc.
The AFSA charge is classified as a special felony, while the falsifying charges are both Class B felonies.
Police ask anyone who may have additional information on the alleged incident to contact the department’s Crime Line at 589-1665.
