U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan

On Monday, Sen. Maggie Hassan is hosting her fourth annual Innovate New Hampshire Entrepreneurship Forum as part of her efforts to support New Hampshire’s entrepreneurs and ensure that they have the tools that they need to launch innovative businesses and thrive. This year’s event will feature a virtual roundtable of New Hampshire business and community leaders sharing their experiences and thoughts on innovation in the Granite State.

Hassan is working to support innovative businesses in New Hampshire and across the country. As Governor of New Hampshire, Senator Hassan doubled the supply of state R&D tax credits and made the credit permanent. Earlier this year, the Senate passed the bipartisan United States Innovation and Competition Act to help the U.S. outcompete China and strengthen national security. It includes key priorities secured by Senator Hassan to help boost the economy and harden critical infrastructure. In addition, the Senate and House are working on an economic package that includes a Hassan-led bipartisan amendment to spur U.S. innovation through the research & development tax credit.
