Former Boston Bruin Shawn Thornton will discuss his new book via Zoom and co-author Dale Arnold will be on hand in person Wednesday at 6 p.m. at The Toadstool Bookshop at Somerset Plaza in Nashua.
NASHUA — Shawn Thornton was always considered a valuable hockey player for whatever NHL team he was on.
Thornton, a noted enforcer but also a key locker room presence when he was a Boston Bruin from 2008-2014, including during the team’s Stanley Cup season in 2011, will speak via zoom at a discussion event for his new book “Shawn Thornton: Fighting My Way To The Top” at The Toadstool Bookshop on Amherst Street Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The book is co-authored by Boston broadcaster Dale Arnold, and Arnold, the host of the NESN Bruins pregame, intermission and postgame broadcasts, will be on hand in person at the event at the Somerset Plaza store.
To sign up for the Zoom event, go to www.toadbooks.com. Those who cannot attend in person are welcome to join in via Zoom.
