NASHUA — Members of the Valley of Nashua, Scottish Rite Freemasons, have put together a special program for tonight as a way to pay tribute to local police, firefighters, emergency medical services and medical professionals for their vital contributions to the community.
The program will take place at the Masonic Building, 200A Main St., starting at about 7:30 p.m. following a dinner.
Its purpose, according to a spokesman, is “to memorialize the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on our country, as well as to honor those who have worked to keep our families safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Nashua is home to one of the five chapters, called “valleys,” of Scottish Rite Freemasons in New Hampshire. The other valleys are based in Concord, Keene, Portsmouth-Dover and Lancaster-Littleton.
