Robert Sleeper, 33, of no fixed address, Nashua

NASHUA — The arrest this week of Robert Sleeper, a 33-year-old Nashua man with no fixed address, stemmed from an police investigation that got underway in early February, when they received a report that Sleeper allegedly sexually assaulted a juvenile female known to him, police said.

Sleeper, who in an unrelated case is facing more than a dozen drug-related charges lodged by Manchester police, was ordered held in jail on preventive detention. He is scheduled for a bail hearing this morning at 11 in the Nashua court.

He is charged with five counts of felonious sexual assault and one count of tampering with witnesses and informants, Class B felonies, and four counts of manufacturing child sexual abuse images, which are special felonies.

Police said detectives with the Special Investigations Division initially issued a warrant on one of the FSA counts, then subsequently filed the additional charges.
