Timothy Bouley, 46, of Dracut, Massachusetts

NASHUA — Police who took a report back on Sept. 2 of alleged domestic assault forwarded the case to Special Investigations Division detectives, who initially charged Dracut, Massachusetts resident Timothy Bouley with one count of second-degree assault – domestic violence, a Class B felony accusing Bouley of strangling a woman known to him.

But in furthering the investigation, police said detectives “determined that Bouley had (allegedly) committed numerous domestic violence-related offenses,” prompting them to issue a warrant for his arrest.

In addition to felony second-degree assault, Bouley faces six Class A misdemeanor charges: Two counts of domestic violence – simple assault; and one count each of domestic violence – false imprisonment; domestic violence – obstructing the report of a crime; criminal mischief; and criminal threatening, according to police.

Bouley was booked on the charges then held in jail pending arraignment, which was scheduled for Wednesday in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.
