On Friday at about 11:59 p.m., members of the Pelham Police and Pelham Fire Department responded to 173 Marsh Road for a single-vehicle crash. Upon arrival they located a vehicle that had been traveling south on Marsh Road, crossed to the wrong side of the road, struck a telephone pole, snapping it in half. The vehicle continued to travel approximately another 50 feet where it struck a vehicle parked in the driveway, flipped over after the impact before coming to a rest on its roof against a tree.

The operator, Talisman Escott, a 51-year-old female from Tyngsborough, Massachusetts, was entrapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated. The operator was transported to Lowell General in Lowell, Massachusetts, and then transported to Tufts Medical Center in Boston with serious injuries.
