NRPC hosting hazardous waste collection day Oct. 2
NASHUA — Greater Nashua residents needing to dispose of certain household hazardous waste can bring the items to Nashua’s Park & Ride facility on Crown Street on the morning of Saturday, Oct. 2.
The Nashua Regional Planning Commission is hosting the collection event, which will be open from 8 a.m. to noon at the Park & Ride, 25 Crown St.
The event is open to residents of Nashua, Hudson, Hollis, Merrimack, Milford, Amherst, Brookline, Litchfield, Mont Vernon, Pelham and Windham.
There is a $15 user fee per vehicle. Additional charges will be assessed for quantities of waste that exceed 10 gallons or 20 pounds.
Items that will not be accepted include latex paint, electronics, and medications.
