Warrant issued, arrest made in August Nashua homicide

Ryan Barden, age 30, current address unknown
NASHUA — Local, state and federal authorities have tracked down and arrested a suspect in the Aug. 11 murder of Nashua resident Jared Daly, who was found bludgeoned to death in his Hanover Street apartment.
Attorney General John M. Formella said law enforcement officers tracked Ryan Barden, 30, to a residence on Stark Road in the Lakes Region town of Belmont, where they found him hiding in a bedroom closet.
Barden was removed from the closet and taken into custody without further incident, Formella said.
He said Barden was later transported to Nashua police headquarters, where he was booked on related charges, then ordered held in jail pending his initial court appearance, which Formella said is scheduled for Tuesday in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.
